Senior WIFI Network Project Manager

     NOVUS Professional Services is seeking a Senior Project manager with specilized experience in WIFI network and product experience.
We are searching for a candidate experienced in bridging Engineering and Product teams, boasting Wi-Fi technology expertise, including APs, Switches, DHCP, NAT/PAT, and Management. Hot Spot 2.0/Passpoint experience is a bonus.   You will lead projects from concept to execution, ensuring adherence to scope, cost, schedule, and quality metrics. Responsibilities encompass project planning, milestone management, and robust communication with teams and stakeholders. Effective change management is pivotal.

     The role involves document preparation, status reporting, and budget oversight, necessitating strong communication, leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Technical industry knowledge and the ability to provide specialized training are key. Proficiency in MS Project, Visio, Excel, and Word is expected. The candidate must bring over 7 years of experience, showcasing specialized project management skills and subject matter expertise.

Responsibilities:

1. Extensive Internet Technology Expertise: Demonstrated experience with Internet technologies and protocols, including TCP/IP, VPN, SSL, and HTTP.
2. Product Development Leadership: Drive product definition, development, implementation, and use cases across different domains within the portfolio.
3. Product Enhancement and Integration: Lead efforts to enhance existing products and define integration strategies, aligning the product portfolio with business unit goals throughout its lifecycle.
4. Product Ownership: Assume ownership of the product and oversee user experience for product launches, enhancements, and issue resolution.
5. Product Requirements Management: Develop and document Product Requirements (PRD), prioritizing them based on business needs, and contribute to Product Roadmap Planning.
6. Strategic Roadmap Development: Develop a strategic roadmap for future functionality and product evolution.
7. CrossFunctional Collaboration: Collaborate across multiple organizational units to advance the product’s agenda, working closely with crossfunctional partners.
8. Management Updates: Provide regular updates to management regarding product progress and milestones.
9. Operational Procedures Definition: Define operational procedures and practices for efficient product management.
10. KPI Establishment: Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and establish appropriate healthchecks, monitoring, and escalation procedures.
11. CustomerCentric Solutions: Create solutions and present compelling recommendations to customers, addressing their specific needs.
12. Risk Mitigation: Identify ongoing risks and pain points throughout projects and implement mitigation measures.
13. Best Practices Development: Capture project lessons and translate them into architectural best practices applicable to the broader install base, providing internal team mentorship through training sessions.
14. Customer Feedback Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Product Management and Engineering to review customer requirements and feedback, identifying opportunities for platform enhancements.
