NOVUS Professional Services is seeking an Automated Test Engineer for a premier client located in Denver, Colorado. The Automated Test Engineer will support a SAFe agile development team developing containerized full stack web application. Follows company software development lifecycle to design, code, configure, test, debug, and document automated tests. Team player who works \with other agile team members, collaborating to ensure that implementations are testable, beginning development of tests while development is underway. Works closely with other automated test engineers to maintain consistency of test automation across application. In addition, keeps Product Owner abreast of any issues that arise during development of automated tests. Participates in architecture, design, deployment reviews, as they pertain to quality assurance and test automation.
***2 – 5 years of experience.
Requirements:
- Must have formal testing experience from planning to execution
- Must have Test Automation Experience using Java, Selenium Frameworks
- Work in an Agile Software Delivery methodology highly focused on developing automated tests with in an iteration
- Identify automated test coverage, including regression testing
- Translation of acceptance criteria to test cases, implementing as automated tests using current strategies, maintaining and enhancing automated test framework
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts, integrating with automated build pipelines
- Develops and maintains operational and system level documentation
- Provide the risk assessment on the defects and set the correct priority and severity
- Ability to execute rigorous testing cycles against product releases
Bonus experience:
- AWS development
- Kubernetes (or other container architecture)
