POSITION TITLE: Development Operations Engineer
WAGE: $161,886 per year
- Work with developers, testers, and deployment teams to create software deployment /hosting plans for client;
- Develop and coordinate with the AWS Team, and implement AWS environmental changes to deploy and host development and testing components;
- Plan and configure new users and configure new teams in the Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) platform using Gitlab, Harness, and Jenkins;
- Write and update automated code testing scripts for installation of server software products using Python, Ruby or Groovy, and JavaScript;
- Support and build scalable, secure, and production-ready platform for containerized applications on-premise and in the cloud;
- Design, develop and assist with Kubernetes networking, security, logging, monitoring and persistent storage;
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues, providing timely support to the development and operations teams;
- Monitor system performance to ensure operates in conformance and with reliability as well performs daily data processing;
- Review and provide feedback for all external facing user documentation, including on- line self-help materials;
- Coach and mentor other teams on CI/CD tools.
Required Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Required Minimum Experience: in lieu of experience in the occupation offered,
- 5 years of experience in AWS and cloud-based hosting, and
- at least 2 years of experience in
- writing and modifying scripting languages, Python, Ruby or Groovy, and JavaScript;
- implementing and managing CI/CD solutions (GitLab, Harness, and Jenkins) and
- containerization (e.g., Kubernetes, ContainerD)
Travel: Telecommuting permitted from anywhere in the US
