NOVUS Professional Services is seeking a Data Engineer, with at least 6 year of experience. The successful candidate will perform data collection, analysis, validation and reporting. Design, test, and document processes, and SQL queries. Extract and analyze data from various sources, including databases, manual files, and external websites, and MS Excel. Responds to data inquiries from various groups within an organization. Documents reporting requirements and processes and validates data components as required. Requires experience with relational databases and knowledge of query tools and/or statistical software. Strong analytical and organizational skills also essential.
Skill Requirements:
- Actively participate in collaborative design and review sessions, pushing innovation while observing best practices
- Engineer datasets using Python to support reporting in Tableau
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel / PowerPoint / MS Office Products
- Identify and recommend continuous improvement opportunities
- Integrate into an Agile (Scrum-Ban) team within a SAFe framework
- Observe the organization, identify painpoints, think of creative solutions that leverage our data
- SQL skills

Technical Expertise:
- 2+ years experience with Snowflake
- 2+ years of experience with Tableau

- Experience with Linux is a plus
- Experience working with structured and unstructured data
