September, 2005
-- NOVUS president Jerome Nowosatko joined Victor Morales of TMNG
to present the Exception Management / Call Analysis Toolkit (EMCAT©)
at the semi-annual Telestrategies Revenue Assurance Conference in
Phoenix, Arizona September 26-28. The presentation focused on the
successful SBC revenue assurance project, the use of automation in
revenue recovery, and the applicability of this methodology and toolkit in a
variety of telecom environments.

July, 2005 --
After nearly a year-long egagement in conjunction with TMNG at SBC
Long Distance in Pleasanton, California, NOVUS announced the successful
completion of
a
complex revenue assurance project. Using a methodology of detailed
analysis and stepwise automation, the NOVUS/TMNG team identified the root-causes of
unbillable call records, along with the required system, data, and process
fixes. The team also developed a suite of reusable tools to enable the
automated application of corrective actions and the recovery of revenue. The
Exception Management / Call Analysis Toolkit (EMCAT©)
enabled the team to automatically identify and repair known error
patterns on a monthly basis until the permanent system and/or process
changes could be implemented. Though the actual amounts are
confidential, the project far exceeded the initial objectives set by the SBC
executives.
2004

July, 2004
-- NOVUS signed an agreement with The Management Network Group, Inc. to
provide consulting and professional services support to their
telecommunications clients. TMNG provides end-to-end strategy,
management, marketing, operational and technology consulting services to the
global communications industry. With over 600 current and former clients
worldwide, including all of the Fortune 500 telecommunications companies,
TMNG is headquartered in Overland Park, Kansas, and has offices located in
Boston, Chicago, Columbus, Dallas, Denver, London, New York, San Francisco,
Toronto, Utrecht and Washington, DC. NOVUS will initially be
providing senior-level business and project management consulting on a
revenue assurance project for one of TMNG's premier clients, Qwest
Communications.
- June, 2004
-- NOVUS announced today that president Jerome Nowosatko was inducted into
the Society of
Industry Leaders, an international organization of experts
from
various technical fields. Sponsored by Vista Research, The Society
connects leaders and practitioners from industry and academia with
institutional investors to provide insight for use in investment and venture
funding. Members of the Society of Industry Leaders are bound by a
strict Code of Ethics that prohibits conflicts of interest and protects
sensitive or proprietary information.

May, 2004 -- NOVUS president Jerry Nowosatko
and his wife Darla took part in
America's Walk for Diabetes
on May 8, 2004 in Colorado Springs, sponsored
by the
American Diabetes Association, in keeping with NOVUS'
long-standing tradition of community support. The weather was perfect,
the turnout was excellent, and both Jerry and Darla exceeded their
fundraising goals for the event. Thanks to all who contributed.
- January, 2004 -- NOVUS announced today that Jerome R. Nowosatko,
Founder and President, has successfully completed the requirements for the
Project Management
Professional (PMP©)
Certification. Offered under the auspices of the leading
not-for-profit professional association for project management, the
Project
Management Institute (PMI©), the PMP©
certification is the project management profession's most recognized and
respected global credential. To obtain PMP©
certification, an individual must satisfy education and experience
requirements, adhere to a Professional Code of Conduct, and pass the PMP©
certification examination.
2003
- September, 2003 -- NOVUS signed a new contract to work with
ProLink
Services, based in Vienna, Virginia, to provide project management and
business analysis services to
a major wireless telecommunications client.
Based on our long-standing relationship
with ProLink, NOVUS was selected to
provide the necessary expertise to assist with reviewing and
selecting a business analytics package for an upcoming CRM
implementation with ProLink's client, Nextel.
- April, 2003 -- NOVUS announced a new partnership with
Excelliant, a
business process engineering and IT services firm based in Atlanta.
Excelliant offers a variety of services to both business and government
agencies, including continuity planning services and automated testing
systems. NOVUS will be working with Excelliant to support a new
Automated Drivers' License Testing System project for the Colorado
Department of Revenue. The pilot project will cover four cities
throughout Colorado, followed by the rest of the state once the pilot is
successful.
2002
- September, 2002 -- NOVUS today signed an agreement to provide
engineering and
business analysis support to
TAEUS International's
patent search group. TAEUS is an international leader in the business
of performing patent evaluations and research, and is headquartered in
Colorado Springs with offices in California, New York, and the United
Kingdom.

June, 2002 -- NOVUS would like to welcome
Nancy Prell, a senior
consulting professional with extensive experience in the telecommunications
industry, as our new Business Development Executive. Ms. Prell brings
a large network of telecom professionals which will expand the scope of
NOVUS' business development efforts. A former Vice President of
Cellular One and President of Prell Consulting, Nancy is looking forward to
the challenges of helping NOVUS expand its client base in a tough economy.
- February, 2002 -- NOVUS announces the hiring of
Jerry Neuner as
Vice President of Business Development. Formerly a senior account
manager with Integrated Architectures, Jerry is skilled in the nurturing of new accounts so
necessary to the development of a new business organization. In
addition to the core telecom constituency NOVUS has always served, Jerry
will focus on expanding our presence in other industry segments, including
transportation, defense, and government.
- February, 2002 -- NOVUS announced today the signing of an
agreement to provide
technical writing support to the local office of
ARINC.
Headquartered in Annapolis, Maryland, ARINC provides communications, system
engineering, and maintenances services to airlines, airports, and the
government.
- February, 2002 -- NOVUS would like to welcome aboard
Janet Ward as a professional technical writer. She brings over 15 years of
experience with documentation development and technical writing expertise.
Formerly with Integrated Architectures,
Janet is looking forward to the new opportunity with NOVUS.

January, 2002 -- NOVUS announces the signing of a significant
contract with Matrix Resources and
BellSouth
Communications to provide business analysis, data validation, and
project
management consulting services. BellSouth is in the final
stages of a major data warehouse project to support federal, state, and industry reporting
requirements,
and they need to have the new system certified as accurate before they can
begin using it in production. NOVUS was solicited to send a team of
engineers after our successful
engagement in 2001 on the development of an earlier reporting system.
- January, 2002 -- NOVUS would like to welcome three new system
engineers to our ranks to start the new year. All three of the new engineers join NOVUS after
successful stints with Integrated Architectures.
Marc Jensen
is a senior system engineer with
over 15 years experience in all facets of the software development
lifecycle. He has extensive experience in the telecommunications and
government sectors. With such clients as ARINC, Telergy, Litton Data
Systems, and GTE Government Systems, Marc has honed his skills as an expert
project manager and system engineer. Marc has a BA in Physics from San
Jose State, and an MS in Computer Science from Colorado Technical
University.
Kelly McCarthy
is a project management and
business analysis expert, with a focus on the telecommunications industry.
He began his 16+ year career as an officer in the US Navy, after which he
spent several years as a professional in the environmental engineering
field. Since becoming an IT consultant, he has worked with such
clients as Telergy, SBC, BellSouth, and GoSolo. Kelly's undergraduate
degree is a BS in Chemical Engineering from Colorado School of Mines, and he
has an MBA from Chapman University, and an MS in Engineering from Texas A&M.
Jeff Wilson
is a senior systems engineer
with over 16 years in Information Technology. After a highly
successful beginning with Lockheed Martin, Jeff left the defense industry to
pursue consulting. As a consultant, his client list includes
BellSouth, Telergy, and GoSolo. Jeff brings a highly scientific, methodical approach to solving software and
business problems. He has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from
Union College in Schenectady, NY, and an MS in Aeronautical and Astonautical
engineering from Stanford University.
2001
-
April, 2001 -- NOVUS announced today a new agreement to provide
consulting support to BellSouth
Communications in Birmingham, Alabama. Partnering with
Integrated Architectures and
Matrix Resources, NOVUS will
provide data and business analysis services
as
part of the development and implementation of a major new data warehouse.
The state of the art system will enable BellSouth to comply with the
numerous requirements of both Federal and State agencies in their effort to
expand into the local phone service market.
2000
- October, 2000 -- NOVUS Professional Services will be working with
Integrated Architectures, Inc.
to help telecom startup GoSolo to build out their Operations Support
Systems (OSS). NOVUS
will be providing business analysis and vendor selection & evaluation
services for the Customer Management layer of the OSS. GoSolo, a
subsidiary of Mediacentric Group, is building a nationwide
telecommunications network to offer convergent communications and messaging
services, including voicemail, paging, and e-mail.
- June, 2000 -- NOVUS has been asked to provide additional business
analysis service to SBC
Communications in St. Louis, Missouri. After our participation in
the EAI project earlier this year, NOVUS will be working with Integrated
Architectures, Inc. to assist SBC with selecting a suite of applications to
reengineer their internal and external web portals. The project will
bring a level of consistency and manageability to all of SBC's web sites
throughout the organization.

- January, 2000 -- NOVUS will be providing business analysis,
project management support with Integrated Architectures, Inc. to
SBC Communications in St.
Louis, Missouri. SBC is undertaking a vast Enterprise Application
Integration (EAI) project to overhaul their massive Operations Support
System (OSS). The project's objective is to streamline the processes
that enable SBC to build, sell, manage, and bill for the increasingly
sophisticated telecommunications services being demanded by businesses
today.
1999
- November, 1999 -- NOVUS has signed an agreement with
Integrated Architectures and
Telergy
Communications to provide consulting support to the startup telecom company.
NOVUS will deliver project management and business analysis services for the
implementation of a network inventory management system. Telergy is in
the midst of rolling out a regional telecom network riding on the
rights-of-way of the utility company.
- November, 1999 -- NOVUS welcomes a new software engineer,
Christine Fatta,
to the staff. Christine joins us from a stint with Citizen Communications
in Dallas, where she was a project manager responsible for the billing
system implementation. With over 12 years of experience in software
development and implementation, Christine is going to enhance NOVUS' ability
to assist our clients.

September, 1999 -- NOVUS today signed an agreement to partner
with Integrated Architectures, Inc. (IAI),
a systems engineering firm based on Franklin, Massachusetts. IAI
is a provider of Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) services to the
telecommunications industry. NOVUS will be providing project
management, business analysis, and system engineering expertise to support
IAI and their clients.

August, 1999 -- NOVUS today announced the first sale of their
project management support tool, Leverage©, to
Net2000 in Herndon, Virginia.
Leverage is a suite tools used to manage typical project management
documentation, such as Requirements, Issues, Action Items, Configuration
Components, and Trouble Tickets. Net2000, a startup telecom company,
will be using the product to manage the many Operations Support System (OSS)
implementation projects they are managing as part of their network buildout.
- March, 1999 -- NOVUS announces today that we have signed a new
agreement with
ProLink Services
and
Teligent Inc. to provide business
analysis services for the startup fixed-wireless telecom company. Now
that
they are up and running, and expanding their network nationwide, they
want to ensure that their revenue stream is being processed as effectively
as possible. NOVUS Professionals will be conducting an intensive audit
of all systems involved in the revenue stream to look for potential
improvements.
- January, 1999 -- NOVUS announces a partnership agreement with
Renaissance
Worldwide, an IT consulting
firm based in Tyson's Corner, Virginia. NOVUS will offer business
analysis and system engineering consulting to support Renaissance and their
telecommunications clients.
1998
-
August, 1998 -- NOVUS would like to welcome Dallas Lyon as a new
member of our company. A very experienced senior software engineer,
Dallas has consulted for a variety of clients, including telecom companies
MCI and
Avantel. He
also spent 11 years as a programmer in the Air Force, working on
communications and data processing systems for the North American Air
Defense (NORAD) in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He will bring his 18+ years of experience to bear in
supporting Teligent, a NOVUS client since November, 1997. Dallas has a BS in
Computer Engineering from the University of Arizona.
- October, 1998 --
Teligent issued a press release today announcing their 'Go-Live' date in 10 markets
nationwide. NOVUS professionals provided project management, business
analysis, and software development expertise to build and implement the
back-office systems that were necessary to enable this launch to happen.
The first 10 of a planned 74 markets were New York, Los Angeles, Chicago,
Houston, Dallas-Fort Worth, San Antonio, Austin, Washington DC, Denver, and
Tampa.
1997
-
November, 1997 -- NOVUS signed its first partnership agreement
today, with ProLink Services of
Falls Church, Virginia. ProLink is a provider of systems integration
and software development services to a variety of clients in the
telecommunications, finance, and government industries. One of their premier
clients is Teligent, Inc.
Teligent is a new startup telecom company in the early stages of a plan to
build a nation-wide fixed-wireless network to provide voice and data
communications to business customers, using
radio antennas mounted on the
outside of buildings. Building the company from the ground up with an
initial investment of nearly $1.7 billion, one of their first priorities is
to implement and integrate the back office systems necessary to fulfill,
manage, and bill for these telecommunications services. NOVUS will be
providing project management, business analysis, and software development
expertise to Teligent to support these efforts.

April, 1997 -- Local entrepreneur and information technology
expert Jerome Nowosatko announced today the formation of a new company,
NOVUS Professional Services, Inc. The company will provide IT consulting
services to clients in the telecommunications industry.
Jerome Nowosatko has been a consultant in the IT field since 1990. As an
employee of Compuware Corporation, he provided programming, analysis, and
project management services to clients including Fireman’s Fund Mortgage
Company, Banc One Services, and MCI Communications. Leveraging the expertise
gained working on a variety of systems and platforms, Nowosatko decided to
create a new firm that would provide the same level of expertise and skills
offered by the larger firms, but with the direct contact, reduced overhead,
and reduced cost of a smaller firm.
NOVUS will be approaching telecommunications companies in Colorado and
throughout the country to offer consulting services. If the business grows
according to plan, NOVUS intends to hire additional consultants in the area.
