I worked as a
BUSINESS
ANALYST
on a broadband implementation project for Nextlink. Nextlink was in the
early phases of launching broadband products in both consumer and business
markets throughout their nationwide territories. As part of this effort, they
were interested in engineering a streamlined and integrated OSS to manage the
new products, spanning all layers of the TMN model.
I was responsible for the Customer and Service Management layers of the project.
I interviewed all key stakeholders, surveyed industry documentation, and created
matrices of applicable solutions and packages. Because of the accelerated
project timeline, I condensed the normal process by nearly 50%, delivering a
full requirements document, complete with prioritized matrices and vendor short
lists, in just two months.
