I worked as a PROGRAMMER ANALYST and BUSINESS ANALYST on specialized team of four tasked with processing incoming mortgage conversions. Firemen’s Fund was in the business of buying large blocks of mortgages on the secondary market, and we were responsible for processing and merging all the incoming data files into FFMC’s internal systems.

I analyzed existing processes and programs to find common functions and repeatable processes.  While converting ongoing acquisitions (about one every three months), I began creating a new process that separated the common procedures from the variable elements, reducing the time required to process an acquisition from four months to one.
